ORGANIC EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL – LOCAL GEOGRAPHIC RECOMMENDATION FROM TUSCANYOLIO EXTRA
The olive oil produced in the Chianti area is an extra virgin olive oil slightly spicy, well balanced and with slight bitter taste. To produce our Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil IGP (Local Geographic Recommendation) Chianti we use olives from trees registered in the List and belonging to the following varieties Frantoio, Moraiolo, Correggiolo e Leccino, in different percentages.
The production method has not changed over time. Olives are still manually harvested, and they are processed in a nearby oil mill, not later than one day after harvesting, to protect the high quality of our production.
At our farm, we also sell directly the products of our land, such as the Chianti Rusignolo wine IGT (Local Geographic Recommendation) and the Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil IGP (Local Geographic Recommendation) Chianti.
